Streszczenie

Obok technik badań poligraficznych opartych na testach pytań kontrolnych (Control Question Tests) znana jest także inna technika, zwana techniką wiedzy o czynie (Guilty Knowledge),

oparta na testach GKT, które są jednym z wariantów testów szczytowego napięcia (Peak of Tension, POT). W polskiej literaturze fachowej spotkać można nieuzasadnione niczym przekonanie o wyższości techniki GKT nad technikami CQ. Otóż technika GKT w praktyce może być zastosowana tylko w niewielkim procencie spraw kryminalnych, a wynik z badań przeprowadzonych tą techniką obciążony jest większym ryzykiem wskazań fałszywie negatywnych niż wynik badań wykonanych techniką CQ. Z tego też względu, technika GKT ma mniejszą przydatność w badaniach eliminacyjnych o jakich mowa w art. 192a k.p.k. Z logicznego punktu widzenia nie ma żadnej istotnej różnicy miedzy wnioskami z badań wykonanych technikami GKT i CQ.

Summary

In addition to techniques utilised in poligraph examination and based on Control Question Tests (CQT), another, the socalled guilty knowledge technique based on Guilty Knowledge Tests (GKT), is employed and constitutes a variation of Peak of Tension Tests (POT). In area-related literature in Poland. Completely ungrounded thesis may be encountered, which maintains that GKT technique is superior to CQ technique. In practice however, GKT technique can be applied to a small percentage of criminal cases only, and the result of examination carried out with this technique is burdened with a higher risk of false negative indications than this is a case in CQ technique- based examinations. Considering this fact, GKT is of less suitability in elimination examinations mentioned in Article 192a of the code of penal proceeding. From logical point of view, there is n0 significant difference between conclusions from GKT and CQ technique-based examinations.
